(EN)The invention relates to the use of at least one amine oxidase inhibitor for modulating the activity of the lysine-specific demethylase (LSD1) in a mammal and to pharmaceutical compositions for controlling the androgen receptor-dependent gene expression, comprising an effective dose of at least one amine oxidase inhibitor suitable for modulating the activity of the lysine-specific demethylase (LSD1) in a mammal. The invention also relates to assay systems allowing to test LSD1 inhibitors for their ability to inhibit LSD1 function.
(FR)L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'au moins un inhibiteur de l'amine-oxydase pour la modulation de l'activité de la déméthylase spécifique de la lysine (LSD1) chez un mammifère et des compositions pharmaceutiques permettant de réguler l'expression génique dépendante du récepteur d'androgène et comprenant une dose efficace d'au moins un inhibiteur de l'amine-oxydase conçue pour moduler l'activité de la déméthylase spécifique de la lysine (LSD1) chez un mammifère. L'invention concerne également des systèmes d'analyse permettant de tester la capacité des inhibiteurs de la LSD1 d'inhiber la fonction de la LSD1.
