Abstract

A mobile communications device arranged to retain a plurality of identification modules where each module has a unique communications network identity, is described. The device comprises a plurality of holders engageable with the plurality of identification modules; and control means for controlling, in use, the supply of power to each identification module via a corresponding holder selectively without loss of power to the rest of the mobile communications device. The control means is arranged on actuation to selectively switch the supply of power from a holder of an active identification module to a holder of an inactive identification module, thereby in use to transfer control between the identification modules.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de communications mobile conçu pour conserver plusieurs modules d'identification, chaque module possédant une identité de réseau de communications unique. Le dispositif comprend plusieurs supports pouvant venir en prise avec la pluralité de modules d'identification; et un moyen de commande pour réguler, en cours d'emploi, l'alimentation de chaque module d'identification par le biais d'un support correspondant de manière sélective sans perte de puissance pour le reste du dispositif de communications mobile. Ledit moyen de commande est conçu, en actionnement, pour commuter de manière sélective l'alimentation d'un support d'un module d'identification actif à un support d'un module d'identification inactif, ce qui permet, en emploi, de transférer la commande entre les modules d'identification.
