(EN)The invention relates to a resorbable, surgical suture material that has been thermally treated with steam and is based on polyglycolic acid and/or a lactide copolymer. Said material degrades rapidly and has a rapidly decreasing knot-rupture force in 'in vivo' conditions and a high initial knot-rupture force in relation to the rapid degradation.

Ce matériau se désintègre rapidement et la résistance à la rupture du noeud diminue vite dans des conditions 'in vivo', cette résistance à la rupture du noeud étant au début élevée.
