(EN)A piston (30) for a control valve (16) of a water treatment apparatus includes body having a central portion (50) from which at least one flange (51, 52, 53) projects radially outward. Each flange has an outer peripheral surface (57, 58, 59) extending around the central portion (50) with an annular groove therein. The annular groove is undercut thereby having a width that increases from the peripheral surface radially inward into the flange. A separate sealing ring (6l, 62, 63) is molded into the groove of each flange and is captivated therein by the undercut of the groove. That captivation better enables each sealing ring to resist forces produced by the water flowing through the control valve without becoming dislodged from the flange.
(FR)La présente invention se rapporte à un piston (30) destiné à la soupape de commande (16) d'un appareil de traitement de l'eau, qui comprend un corps possédant une partie centrale (50) depuis laquelle au moins une bride (51, 52, 53) fait saillie radialement vers l'extérieur. Chaque bride comporte une surface périphérique externe (57, 58, 59) s'étendant autour de la partie centrale (50) et dotée d'une rainure annulaire. La rainure annulaire est évidée de façon qu'elle présente une largeur qui augmente à partir de la surface périphérique vers l'intérieur de la bride. Un anneau d'étanchéité (61, 62, 63) séparé est moulé dans la rainure de chaque bride et y est capturé par l'entaille de la rainure. Ladite capture permet à chaque anneau d'étanchéité de mieux résister aux forces générées par l'eau qui traverse la soupape de commande, sans se détacher de la bride.
