Abstract
(EN) The present invention discloses a multilateral location share system in which location in¬ formation and location change information of other subscribers belonging to the same group are displayed on its GPS radio when location change of other subscribers happens. The multilateral location share system comprises a plurality of GPS radios and a wireless/wire location share repeater which controls a group to which a plurality of GPS radios belong. The GPS radio transmits its current location information received from a GPS satellite over an idle channel detected by a channel selector, and the wireless/wire location share repeater temporarily stores the location information received from a plurality of GPS radios and periodically transmits the location information over a second common channel set to be commonly used for the GPS radios to receive the location information according to a control signal of a transmitting controller. Accordingly, a policeman having the GPS radio can perceive locations of his/her colleagues belonging to the same group as well as his/her location, and also the police station which controls the group can be aware of current location of all policemen belonging to the group.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un système multilatéral de partage de positions dans lequel les informations de localisation et de déplacement d’autres abonnés appartenant au même groupe s’affichent sur la radio GPS de l’utilisateur en cas de déplacement de ceux-ci. Le système comprend une pluralité de radios GPS et un répéteur de partage de positions sans fil/câblé qui contrôle un groupe auquel les radios appartiennent. La radio GPS transmet ses informations de localisation actuelles reçues d’un satellite GPS via une voie libre détectée par un sélecteur de canal. Le répéteur stocke temporairement les informations de localisation reçues d’une pluralité de radios GPS et les transmet périodiquement via un second canal configuré pour une utilisation commune afin que les radios reçoivent les informations en fonction d’un signal de contrôle d’un contrôleur de transmission. Ainsi, un policier disposant d’une radio GPS peut connaître les positions de ses collègues appartenant au même groupe et sa propre position, et le poste de police qui commande le groupe peut également connaître la position actuelle de chaque membre du groupe.
