Abstract
(EN) A host device (2) has a transfer function (22) for dividing output data into a plurality of sets of transfer data and transferring them to a peripheral device (3). The transfer function (22) provides a device for successively compressing the plurality of sets of transfer data, storing them in a memory (14), selecting a compressed data set (82c) and a non-compressed data set (82n), and transferring them. The transfer function (22) makes judgments including the following judgments. When a current data set transfer can be started and if the current data set has been compressed, the compressed data set is transferred. If the current data set has not be compressed, the first end time when the compressed data set is transferred and the second end time when the non-compressed data set is transferred are predicted and the data set having the shorter end time predicted is transferred. If the next data set compression is not started when transfer is started, the compression of the data set is started.
(FR) Selon l'invention, un dispositif hôte (2) présente une fonction de transfert (22) permettant de diviser des données de sortie en une pluralité d'ensembles de données de transfert et de les transférer vers un dispositif périphérique (3). La fonction de transfert (22) permet d'obtenir un dispositif permettant de compresser successivement la pluralité d'ensembles de données de transfert, de les stocker dans une mémoire (14), de sélectionner un ensemble de données compressé (82c) et un ensemble de données non compressé (82n) et de les transférer. La fonction de transfert (22) effectue des jugements y compris les jugements suivants. Lorsqu'un transfert d'ensemble de données courant peut être lancé et si l'ensemble de données courant a été compressé, l'ensemble de données compressé est transféré. Si l'ensemble de données courant n'a pas été compressé, le premier temps de sortie lorsque l'ensemble de données compressé est transféré et le second temps de sortie lorsque l'ensemble de données non compressé est transféré sont prédits et l'ensemble de données présentant le temps de sortie prédit le plus court est transféré. Si la compression d'un ensemble de données suivant n'est pas lancée lorsque le transfert est lancé, la compression de l'ensemble de données est lancée.
(JA)  出力データを複数セットの転送データに分割して周辺機器(3)に転送する転送機能(22)を有するホスト装置(2)であって、転送機能(22)が、複数セットの転送データを順番に圧縮してメモリ(14)に格納し、圧縮済みのデータセット(82c)および未圧縮のデータセット(82n)を選択して転送する装置を提供する。転送機能(22)は、今回のデータセットの転送の開始が可能となった時に、今回のデータセットが圧縮済みであれば、圧縮済みのデータセットを転送すること、今回のデータセットが圧縮済みでなければ、圧縮済みのデータセットを転送したときの第1の終了時間と、未圧縮のデータセットを転送したときの第2の終了時間とを予測し、予測された終了時間の短いデータセットを転送すること、および、転送を開始する時に、次回のデータセットの圧縮が開始されていなければ、そのデータセットの圧縮を開始することを含む判断を行なう。
