Abstract
(EN) The structural integrity of a metal powder body during heat treatment is enhanced by the in situ formation of metal nanoparticles. The nanopartilces bond to one another and to the metal powder particles of the powder body during heat treatment to provide strength to the powder body prior to the operation of the physical phenomena which transform the powder body into a coherent article. The precursor or precursors from which the nanoparticles are derived are preferably metal salts which are added to the powder or powder body in the form of a solution. The use of conventional binders is optional.
(FR) Selon l’invention, l’intégrité structurelle d’un corps en poudre métallique lors d’un traitement à chaud est améliorée par la formation in situ de nanoparticules métalliques. Les nanoparticules se lient les unes aux autres et aux particules de poudre métallique du corps en poudre lors du traitement à chaud pour apporter une résistance au corps en poudre avant l’action des phénomènes physiques qui transforment le corps en poudre en un objet cohérent. Le ou les précurseurs dont sont dérivées les nanoparticules sont de préférence des sels métalliques qui sont ajoutés à la poudre ou au corps en poudre sous forme d’une solution. L’utilisation de liants classiques est facultative.
