Abstract
(EN) A valve body for a gate valve. The gate valve has a media flow aperture and guide rails for guiding the valve body between an opened position to allow media flow through the aperture and a closed position to prevent media to flow through the aperture. The gate valve has a sealing surface adjacent the media flow aperture. The gate valve has a guide rail and a framework linked together with brackets securing the assembly to the structure of the flow aperture. The valve body engages the sealing surface when the valve body is in the closed position. The valve body has a periphery and a sealing assembly mounted to the valve body adjacent the periphery for engaging the sealing surface of the gate valve. The valve body also has guide rail engaging members for allowing the valve body to move on the guide rails between the opened and closed positions. The guide rail engaging members are offset with relation to the sealing assembly in a direction of media flow through the aperture of the gate valve.
(FR) Corps de vanne pour robinet vanne qui comporte une ouverture d'écoulement d'un milieu et des rails guides permettant de guider le corps de vanne entre une position ouverte permettant l'écoulement à travers l'ouverture et une position fermée évitant l'écoulement du milieu à travers l'ouverture. La vanne-robinet comporte une surface d'étanchéité adjacente à l'ouverture d'écoulement du milieu ainsi qu'un rail guide et une structure liée avec des supports fixant l'ensemble sur la structure de l'ouverture d'écoulement. Le robinet-vanne est imbriqué dans la surface d'étanchéité lorsque le corps de vanne se trouve en position fermée. Le corps de vanne présente un pourtour et un ensemble d'étanchéité monté sur le corps de vanne adjacent au pourtour de manière à s'imbriquer avec la surface d'étanchéité du robinet vanne. Le corps de vanne comporte également des éléments d'insertion d'un rail guide permettant au corps de vanne de se déplacer sur les rails guides entre les positions ouverte et fermée. Les éléments d'insertion du rail guide sont décalés par rapport à l'ensemble d'étanchéité dans le sens d'écoulement du milieu à travers l'ouverture du robinet-vanne.
