Abstract
(EN) The present subject matter discloses devices, systems, and methodologies for harvesting power from environmentally induced vibrations. Piezoelectric unimorph devices and structures are disclosed that may be employed alone, as balanced paired structures, or in combination with other elements to enhance the power harvesting capabilities of the unimorph devices. Power harvesting devices and systems in accordance with the subject technology may concurrently operate as sensors in motion sensitive applications thus providing self-powered monitoring capabilities.
(FR) La présente invention décrit des dispositifs, systèmes et méthodologies destinés à collecter de l’énergie à partir de vibrations induites dans l’environnement. Des dispositifs et structures piézoélectriques unimorphes sont décrits qui peuvent être employés seuls, en tant que structures équilibrées en paires ou en association avec d’autres éléments afin d’améliorer les capacités de collecte de puissance des dispositifs unimorphes. Les dispositifs et systèmes de collecte d’énergie conformes à la technologie de la présente invention peuvent fonctionner simultanément en tant que capteurs dans des applications sensibles au mouvement, offrant ainsi des capacités de surveillance auto-alimentées.
