A fingerprint sensing module includes a sensor substrate having a sensing side and circuit side, an image sensor including conductive traces on the circuit side of the sensor substrate, and a sensor circuit including at least one integrated circuit mounted on the circuit side of the sensor substrate and electrically connected to the image sensor. The sensor substrate may be a flexible substrate. The module may include a velocity sensor on the sensor substrate or on a separate substrate. The module may further include a rigid substrate, and the sensor substrate may be affixed to the rigid substrate.

L'invention concerne un module de détection d'empreintes digitales comprenant un substrat de détection disposant d'un côté servant à la détection et d'un côté doté d'un circuit, un capteur d'image comprenant des traces conductrices sur le côté du circuit du substrat de détection ainsi qu'un circuit de détection comprenant au moins un circuit intégré fixé sur le côté du circuit du substrat de détection et électriquement raccordé au capteur d'image. Le substrat de détection peut être un substrat souple. Le module peut comprendre un capteur de vitesse sur le substrat de détection ou sur un substrat séparé. Le module peut aussi comprendre un substrat rigide sur lequel peut être apposé le substrat de détection.
