A system incorporates TH-IR and TR-IR transceivers in the same wireless network. A transmitter modulates a sequence of bits in a wireless communications network by generating a reference waveform and a data waveform of a waveform pair for each current bit. The phase of the reference waveform depends on a previous modulated bit, and a difference in phase between the reference waveform and the data waveform pair depend on the current bit.

Cette invention concerne un système comprenant des émetteurs-réceurs TH-IR et TR-IR dans le même réseau sans fil. Un émetteur moduune séquence de chiffres binaires dans un réseau de communicationans fil par génération d'une forme d'onde de référence 'une forme d'onde de données provenant d'une pairede formes d'onde pour chaque chiffre binaire en cours. La phase de la forme d'onde de référence dépend d'un chiffrenaire modul·précédent, et une différence de phase entre larme d'onde de référence et la pair de formes d'onde de nnées dépend du chiffre binaire en cours.
