During a writing period, a writing current is permitted to flow in a video signal line (DL) in a first status wherein first control terminal and output terminal of a drive control element (DR1), a second control terminal of a drive control element (DR2) and a video signal line (DL) are mutually connected and a potential of a scan signal line (SL1) is set at a first potential; and the potential of the scan signal line (SL1) is changed from the first potential to the second potential in a second status wherein connections among the first and the second control terminals, the output terminal and the video signal line (DL) are interrupted. During an effective display period, a drive current is permitted to flow in a display element (OLED) in a status wherein the potential of the scan signal line (SL1) is kept at the second potential.

Pendant une période d’écriture, on autorise un courant d’écriture à circuler dans une ligne de signal vidéo (DL) en un premier état dans lequel la première borne de commande et la borne de sortie d’un élément de commande d'actionnement (DR1), une deuxième borne de commande d’un élément de commande d'actionnement (DR2) et une ligne de signal vidéo (DL) sont raccordées mutuellement et un potentiel d’une ligne d’un signal de balayage (SL1) est réglé à un premier potentiel ; et le potentiel de la ligne d’un signal de balayage (SL1) est changé du premier potentiel vers le deuxième potentiel en un deuxième état où les connexions entre la première et la deuxième borne de commande, la borne de sortie et la ligne de signal vidéo (DL) sont interrompues. Pendant une période d’affichage réel, on autorise un courant de commande à circuler dans un élément d’affichage (OLED) en un état dans lequel le potentiel de la ligne d’un signal de balayage (SL1) est conservé au deuxième potentiel.

書込期間において、駆動制御素子(DR1)の第1制御端子及び出力端子と駆動制御素子(DR2)の第2制御端子と映像信号線(DL)とを互いに接続し且つ走査信号線(SL1)の電位を第1電位に設定した第1状態で映像信号線(DL)に書込電流を流し、第1及び第2制御端子と出力端子と映像信号線(DL)との各接続を断った第2状態で走査信号線(SL1)の電位を第1電位から第2電位へと変化させる。有効表示期間では、走査信号線(SL1)の電位を第2電位に維持した状態で、表示素子(OLED)に駆動電流を流す。
