Abstract
(EN) A laser system capable of selecting between at least two different wavelengths of output laser light. The system (100) comprises a resonator cavity (105) comprising at least two reflectors (110, 115), and a laser material (125) located in the cavity. A pump source (120) is located outside of the cavity for pumping the laser material (125) with a pump beam to generate a cavity laser beam. A Raman-active medium (135) is also located in the resonator cavity (105) for shifting the wavelength of the cavity laser beam such that at least two different frequencies are generated. A frequency selector is provided for selecting a single frequency of output laser light by either deselecting all but one of the at least two different frequencies or by selecting one of the at least two different frequencies, and an output coupler is used for outputting the single wavelength of output laser light.
(FR) L’invention porte sur un système laser capable de choisir entre au moins deux longueurs d’onde différentes de lumière laser de sortie. Le système (100) comprend une cavité de résonateur (105) contenant au moins deux réflecteurs (110, 115) et un matériau laser (125) situé dans la cavité. Une source de pompage (120) est située à l’extérieur de la cavité pour pomper le matériau laser (125) avec un faisceau de pompage permettant de générer un faisceau laser à cavité. Un support actif Raman (135) est également situé dans la cavité de résonateur (105) pour décaler la longueur d’onde du faisceau laser à cavité pour qu’au moins deux fréquences différentes soient générées. Un sélecteur de fréquence est installé pour sélectionner une seule fréquence de lumière laser de sortie en désélectionnant toutes les fréquences à l’exception d’une des au moins deux fréquences différentes ou en sélectionnant l’une des au moins deux fréquences différentes, et l’on utilise un coupleur de sortie pour générer la longueur d’onde de lumière laser de sortie.
