Abstract
(EN) A handheld and portalbe extraction device (10) is directed to a microfluidic-based system to be used in the field to extract and purify an analyte, preferably a nucleic acid, from a fluid-based sample. Preferably, the fluid-based sample is water-based. The fluid-based sample can also be a biological fluid sample. The handheld and portable extraction device includes a syringe-like device (14) coupled to a purification chip (48). The purification chip is preferably included within a chip block (40), which is removable from the remaining portion of the handheld and portable extraction device. The analyte collected within the purification chip can be later removed and collected for analysis.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un dispositif d'extraction manuel et portable (10) pour un système microfluidique conçu pour être utilisé dans le domaine de l'extraction et de la purification d'un analyte, tel que de préférence un acide nucléique, contenu dans un échantillon à base de fluide. L'échantillon à base de fluide est de préférence à base d'eau. L'échantillon à base de fluide peut également être un échantillon de fluide biologique. Ce dispositif d'extraction manuel et portable comprend un dispositif du type seringue (14) couplé à une puce de purification (48). La puce de purification est de préférence incluse dans un bloc à puce (40), qui peut être retiré de la partie restante du dispositif d'extraction manuel et portable. L'analyte recueilli dans la puce de purification peut ensuite être retiré et recueilli pour analyse.
