(EN)Methods for use in identifying the individual biological components present in a botanical mixture are provided. Using a combination of genomic-locus specific PCR, single strand conformation polymorphism, and sequence analysis, the biologic components of a botanical composition are identified without prior knowledge as to which components may be present.
