Abstract
(EN) In one embodiment, a local oscillator and mixer architecture may include a frequency divider (30) having I and Q channel master storage elements (32, 36) formed of devices of a first size, and I and Q channel slave storage elements (34, 38) formed of devices of a second size, where the second size is smaller than the first size. In such manner, power consumption may be reduced while reducing phase noise in signals provided from the frequency divider (30) to the corresponding mixer.
(FR) Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, un oscillateur local et une architecture de mélangeur peuvent comprendre un diviseur de fréquence (30) comportant des accumulateurs d'énergie maîtres (32, 36) à canaux I et Q constitués de dispositifs d'une première taille, et des accumulateurs d'énergie esclaves (34, 38) à canaux I et Q constitués de dispositifs d'une seconde taille, la seconde taille étant inférieure à la première taille. La consommation d'énergie peut ainsi être réduite en même temps que le bruit de phase des signaux transmis par le diviseur de fréquence (30) au mélangeur correspondant.
