Abstract
(EN) An acoustic flowmeter calibration method and sampling system address a variation in acoustic transducer delay time with increasing temperature. In one aspect, calibration of the path length between the sending and receiving transducers and calibration of the transducer delay time over a wide temperature range are optimized. In another aspect, the flowmeter output is temperature compensated based on the exhaust flowmeter gas temperature. These two aspects may be embodied in an ultrasonic flowmeter for exhaust gas measurement individually or in combination in accordance with the invention.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé de calibrage d'un débitmètre acoustique et sur un système d'échantillonnage permettant de varier le délai d'attente du transducteur acoustique avec l'augmentation de la température. Dans un aspect, le calibrage de la longueur de trajet entre les transducteurs d'envoi et de réception et le calibrage du délai d'attente du transducteur sur une gamme de température élevée sont optimisés. Dans un autre aspect, la sortie du débitmètre est compensée en température en fonction de la température du gaz d'évacuation du débitmètre. Ces deux aspects peuvent être présents dans un débitmètre ultrasonore pour mesurer le gaz d'évacuation de manière individuelle ou combinée conformément à l'invention.
