Abstract:
(EN) A separator for pneumatically transported particulate material comprises a separation surface through which, in use, a vacuum is drawn, for separating the particulate material from a gaseous medium in which it is transported and an inlet (30) for feeding a stream of the pneumatically transported io particulate material to the separation surface. The inlet (30) is moveable to sweep the particulate material over the separation surface, which may be a cylindrical sieve drum (2) mounted for rotation about its longitudinal axis. A rotary airlock (18) for pneumatically transported particulate material is comprises a plurality of radial vanes (32) mounted for rotation about a central axis. Each vane (32) is resiliently biased in a first radial position whereby, in use, when a force acts upon it in a direction contrary to the direction of rotation of the airlock (18), the vane (32) is deflected from the first radial position in the direction of the force and when the force is removed the vane (32) returns to the first radial position.
(FR) L'invention concerne un séparateur destiné à une matière particulaire transportée pneumatiquement et comprenant une surface de séparation à travers laquelle, en cours d'utilisation, un vide est créé par aspiration en vue d'une séparation de la matière particulaire d'un milieu gazeux dans lequel elle est transportée, et une entrée (30) destinée à l'acheminement d'un flux de cette matière particulaire transportée pneumatiquement en direction de la surface de séparation. L'entrée (30) peut se déplacer de façon à répandre la matière particulaire sur la surface de séparation, laquelle peut être un tambour-tamiseur cylindrique (2) monté en vue d'une rotation autour de son axe longitudinal. Un sas rotatif (18) destiné à la matière particulaire transportée pneumatiquement comprend une pluralité d'ailettes radiales (32) montées en vue d'une rotation autour d'un axe central. Chaque ailette (32) est sollicitée élastiquement dans une première position radiale. Ainsi, en cours d'utilisation, lorsqu'une force agit sur une ailette dans un sens contraire au sens de rotation du sas (18), cette ailette (32) est déviée de la première position radiale dans le sens de cette force, ladite ailette (32) retrouvant la première position radiale lors de la suppression de cette force.
