Abstract
(EN) An apparatus and method providing a system configured to transfer energy from an internal combustion engine to drive a load (980). The system includes a rapid response component (900), a valve system (914) and an actuator (960). The rapid response component (900) is configured to be operatively coupled to a combustion portion (908) of the internal combustion engine. The rapid response component also is configured to draw a portion of energy from the combustion in the internal combustion engine and transfer the portion of energy as a fluid including pulsitile fluid flow. The valve system (914) is operatively coupled to the rapid response component and is operable to receive the pulsitile fluid flow from the rapid response component (900).
(FR) Cette invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé permettant de réaliser un système conçu pour transférer de l'énergie provenant d'un moteur à combustion interne afin de commander une charge (980). Le système décrit dans cette invention comprend un élément à réponse rapide (900), un système de soupape (914) et un actionneur (960). L'élément (900) est conçu pour être couplé de manière fonctionnelle à une portion combustion (908) du moteur à combustion interne. L'élément à réponse rapide est également conçu pour acheminer une partie de l'énergie provenant du moteur à combustion interne et pour la transférer en tant que fluide contenant un écoulement de fluide de poussée.
