(EN)The present invention related to a method for crystallizing a CMY-10 being a &bgr;-lactamase with extended- substrate spectrum, a crystal of CMY-10, and a crystal structure of CMY-10. With utilization of three-dimensional structure of CMY-10 . protein provided by the present invention, it is possible to develop novel antibiotics or inhibitors that can prevent an emergence of resistance bacteria appeared by^plasmidic class C &bgr;-lactamases having extended-substrate specificity.
(FR)L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de cristalliser une CMY-10, qui est une $g(b)-lactamase présentant un large spectre de substrat, un cristal de CMY-10 et une structure cristalline de CMY-10. Grâce à l'utilisation d'une structure tridimensionnelle de la protéine CMY-10 selon l'invention, il est possible de développer de nouveaux antibiotiques ou inhibiteurs qui peuvent prévenir en urgence la formation de bactéries résistantes dues à des $g(b)-lactamases plasmidiques de classe C présentant une spécificité de substrat élargie.
