Abstract
(EN) The invention relates to the use of a phenolic resin modified with cashew nut shell oil or a fraction of same in a shell moulding process. In addition, the invention relates to a shell moulding process in which the aforementioned modified phenolic resin is used in the silica sand grain-coating step. The invention further relates to a mould or core which is used for the casting of metals based on silica sand grains that have been coated with the modified phenolic resin.
(ES) La presente invención proporciona el uso de una resina fenólica modificada con aceite de cáscara de la nuez del anacardo o fracción del mismo en un procedimiento de moldeo en cáscara. Asimismo, proporciona un procedimiento de moldeo en cáscara en el que dicha resina fenólica modificada se emplea en la etapa de revestimiento de los granos de arena de sílice. Por último, la invención proporciona también un molde o macho para fundición de metales a base de granos de arena de sílice revestidos con dicha resina fenólica modificada.
(FR) La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une résine phénolique modifiée à l'aide d'huile de coquille de noix de cajou ou d'une fraction de celle-ci dans un procédé de moulage en coquille. L'invention concerne également un procédé de moulage en coquille dans lequel ladite résine phénolique moodifiée est utilisée dans l'étape de revêtement des grains de sable de silice. L'invention concerne enfin un moule ou noyau utilisé dans la fusion des métaux à base de grains de sable de silice revêtus de ladite résine phénolique modifiée.
