(EN)A cyclic process for the removal of NOx from a NOx containing feed gas stream using an absorbent and for the regenration of the absorbent, which comprises: (a) contacting the feed gas stream with the absorbent to form a Nox rich absorbent, the absorbent comprising an iron amine polycarboxylic acid chelate, and an addictive having free radical scavenger functionality and amine functionality; (b) treating the Nox rich absorbent to remove Nox and to form a regenerated absorbent; and, (c) recycling the regenrated absorbent to the contacting step.
(FR)L'invention a trait à un procédé cyclique permettant d'éliminer, à l'aide d'un absorbant, le NOx d'un flux de gaz d'alimentation contenant du NOx, et de régénérer ledit absorbant. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : (a) à mettre en contact le flux de gaz d'alimentation avec l'absorbant afin de former un absorbant riche en NOx, l'absorbant contenant un chélate d'acide polycarboxylique aminé de fer, et un additif possédant une fonction capteur de radicaux libres et une fonction amine ; (b) à traiter l'absorbant riche en NOx afin d'éliminer le NOx et de former un absorbant régénéré ; et (c) à recycler l'absorbant régénéré en le soumettant à nouveau à l'étape de mise en contact.
