Abstract:
(EN) An actuating medical device and methods for making and using the same. The actuating medical device may include a proximal shaft portion having a distal end region, an actuating shaft portion attached to the distal end region, one or more actuating members coupled to or otherwise disposed adjacent the actuating shaft portion, and a distal shaft portion attached to the actuating shaft portion. The actuating shaft portion may include a shape memory material and may be adapted to shift between a first configuration and a second configuration. Using the actuating medical device may include positioning the actuating medical device in a blood vessel and shifting the actuating shaft portion between the first and second configurations.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif médical de commande et ses procédés de fabrication et d'utilisation. Ce dispositif médical de commande peut comporter une partie tige proximale présentant une zone d'extrémité distale, une partie tige de commande fixée à la zone d'extrémité distale, au moins un élément de commande couplé ou jouxtant la partie tige de commande, et une partie tige distale fixée à la partie tige de commande, cette dernière pouvant comporter un matériau à mémoire de forme et être conçue pour passer d'une première à une seconde configurations.
