(EN)The present invention provides a method for the treatment of a subterranean formation which contains sand particles, said method comprising contacting said formation with a positively charged polymer capable of increasing the residual matrix strength of said sand particles whereby to reduce or prevent their migration whilst minimising any decrease in the permeability of said formation. Polymer materials suitable for use in the method of the invention include polyaminoacids, poly (diallyl ammonium salts) and mixtures thereof.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'une formation souterraine renfermant des particules de sable, le procédé consistant à mettre en contact la formation avec un polymère à charge positive capable d'accroître la force résiduelle matricielle des particules de sable, de manière à réduire ou empêcher la migration de celles-ci et à minimiser en même temps une diminution quelconque de la perméabilité de la formation. Des matériaux polymères conçus pour être utilisés dans le procédé selon l'invention comprennent des polyaminoacides, des sels de poly (diallyl ammonium) et des mélanges de ceux-ci.
