(EN)Injection molding of a lens material behind and/or in front of films is described. The films may be of any desired thickness and are pre-inserted into a mold to produce a finished spectacle lens. The films may have been treated or may be configured to offer properties such various tints, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, weathering, ultra-violet degradation resistance, antifog, polarization, photochromicity, anti-glare, anti-reflection, electrostatic discharge and static dissipation.
(FR)L'invention concerne le moulage par injection d'un matériau de verre derrière et/ou devant des films. Lesdits films peuvent posséder une épaisseur quelconque désirée et sont pré-introduits dans un moule afin de produire un verre de lunettes fini. Il peuvent être traités ou configurés afin d'offrir les propriétés suivantes: variété de teintes, résistance à l'abrasion, résistance aux substances chimiques, résistance à l'altération atmosphérique, résistance à la dégradation aux ultraviolets, antibrouillard, polarisation, photosensibilité, anti-éblouissement, antireflet, décharge électrostatique et dissipation statique.
