(EN)The present invention is directed to polysaccharide-grafted polymer particles wherein the polysaccharide is preferably a ß-1,4 linked polysaccharide and the particle comprises monomer units which may include hydrophobic water insoluble monomer units and/or hydrophilic monomer units, wherein the hydrophilic monomer units are derived from monomers having a solubility of greater than 30 g/litre in water (distilled or equivalent) at 25°C.
