(EN)An apparatus for providing a Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) scheme for link adaptation including use of channel estimation and Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) measurements by bundling several timeslots of a frame within the existing GSM/GPRS/EDGE system. An algorithm for providing rotation of MS users such that each one will benefit from measuring all timeslots of the frame resulting in more reliable and accurate transmission of information.
(FR)L'invention concerne un appareil permettant de fournir un schéma de multiplexage par répartition dans le temps (TDM) pour l'adaptation de liaison, qui consiste à utiliser l'estimation de canal et des mesures d'indicateur de qualité de canal (CQI) par groupage de plusieurs intervalles temporels d'une trame à l'intérieur du système GSM/GPRS/EDGE existant. A cet effet, un algorithme assure la rotation d'utilisateurs de station mobile (MS) de façon que chaque utilisateur bénéficie de la mesure de tous les intervalles temporels de la trame, ce qui permet d'améliorer la fiabilité et la précision de la transmission des informations.
