(EN)The present invention is concerned with rapidly lowering the body temperature of a patient by having them inhale frozen particles. These particles melt in the patient's respiratory tract and are expelled as liquid droplets when the patient exhales. The invention includes not only the method for reducing body temperature, but the mists that are used in this method as well.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire baisser rapidement la température corporelle d'un patient en faisant inhaler à ce dernier des particules gelées. Ces particules fondent dans les voies respiratoires du patient et sont expulsées sous forme de gouttelettes liquides lorsque le patient expire.
