Abstract:
The invention relates to diesel engines whose compression degree is increased up to 80. The inventive method consists in forming vacuum in an intake manifold and a cylinder during starting and in limiting the engine cylinder air inflation during the operation thereof from an idling to a full speed mode. The vacuum in the intake manifold is produced by removing air from the intake manifold when a fuel injecting device, an airflow controller and a throttle gate are closed. When a specified vacuum level is attained, an electronic control unit sends a signal to a starter for turning a crankshaft and signals for opening the fuel injecting device and the air-flow controller, thereby making it possible to supply air and fuel to a cylinder. During turning, the airflow controller maintains the specified vacuum level in the intake manifold. When the engine runs, the air removal from the intake manifold is stopped and the airflow controller is switched to the idle position. Said invention makes it possible to increase the engine ignition reliability, enables the engine to turn at peak revolution, increases the service life and reduces the fuel consumption.
