Abstract:
(EN) Biocompatible intraocular implants include a tyrosine kinase inhibitor and a biodegradable polymer that is effective to facilitate release of the tyrosine kinase inhibitor into the vitreous of an eye for an extended period of time. The therapeutic agents of the implants may be associated with a biodegradable polymer matrix, such as a matrix that is substantially free of a polyvinyl alcohol. The implants may be placed in an eye to treat or reduce the occurrence of one or more ocular conditions.
(FR) L'invention concerne des implants intraoculaires biocompatibles comprenant un inhibiteur de tyrosine kinase et un polymère biodégradable efficace pour faciliter la libération de l'inhibiteur de tyrosine kinase dans la vitrée d'un oeil, pendant une période prolongée. Les agents thérapeutiques de ces implants peuvent être associés à une matrice polymère biodégradable, notamment une matrice qui est sensiblement exempte d'un alcool de polyvinyle. Les implants de l'invention peuvent être placés dans un oeil pour traiter ou pour réduire l'apparition d'au moins un trouble oculaire.
