(EN)A simple, inexpensive method of producing in bulk a doped metal nitride powder that exhibits a high luminescent efficiency, by first forming a metal-dopant alloy and then reacting the alloy with high purity ammonia under controlled conditions in a reactor. The resulting doped metal nitride powders will exhibit a luminescent efficiency that greatly exceeds that seen in pure undoped GaN powders, doped GaN thin films, and ZnS powders.
(FR)La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé simple et peu onéreux permettant de produire en gros une poudre de nitrure d'un métal dopé qui présente un fort rendement lumineux, ledit procédé consistant tout d'abord à former un alliage métal-dopant puis à faire réagir cet alliage dans un réacteur avec de l'ammoniac de haute pureté dans des conditions régulées. Les poudres de nitrure de métal dopé ainsi produites présentent un rendement lumineux qui excèdent considérablement celui obtenu avec des poudres GaN non dopées, pures, des films minces GaN dopés et des poudres ZnS.
