The present invention provides a method for determining the erasing power of rewritable optical disk and the apparatus thereof. The method comprises the steps: setting up a plurality of erasing test powers firstly; then testing optical disk writing using a designated writing power of optical disk together with the plurality of erasing test powers of optical disk respectively to obtain the parameters corresponding to every erasing test power of optical disk, the parameters representing the effects of erasing optical disk, such as the data-to-clock jitter; and then determining an erasing power used for said rewritable optical disk by establishing the corresponding variation relation between the parameters and the erasing test powers of optical disk according to the plurality of erasing test powers of optical disk and said corresponding parameters.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé servant à déterminer la puissance d'effacement d'un disque optique réinscriptible, ainsi qu'à un appareil correspondant. Ce procédé consiste: à sélectionner d'abord plusieurs puissances de test d'effacement; puis à tester l'écriture du disque optique en utilisant une puissance d'écriture désignée du disque optique associée à plusieurs puissances de test d'effacement du disque optique respectivement, pour obtenir les paramètres correspondant à chaque puissance de test d'effacement du disque optique et représentant les effets d'effacement du disque optique; tels que l'instabilité des données par rapport au signal d'horloge; et à déterminer ensuite une puissance d'effacement utilisée pour ce disque optique réinscriptible, en établissant la relation de variation correspondante entre ces paramètres et les puissances de test d'effacement du disque optique en fonction des puissances de test d'effacement du disque optique et des paramètres correspondants.
