The invention concerns a method, devices and a computer program code (10) bridging multimedia stream sections. The method comprises detecting user-selected switching from a first (TS1) to a second section (TS2) at an exit time (USEX) of the first section and an entry time (USEN) of the second section, determining, based on the exit time, an exit location (AEX) having a sequence start marker, selecting all media packets (V2, A2) in the first section associated with the start marker and possible media packets (A,) provided after the exit location associated with previous sequences, creating a sequence end marker (E) for selected packets, determining, based on the entry time, an entry location (AEN) having a sequence start marker, selecting stream control information (SC) provided before the entry location, and creating a bridge clip (BC) comprising copied selected media packets, the sequence end marker, copied selected stream control information and possible filling packets (N).

La présente invention concerne un procédé, des dispositifs et un code (10) de programme d'ordinateur reliant des tronçons de flux multimédia. Le procédé consiste à détecter la commutation sélectionnée par l'utilisateur d'un premier tronçon (TS1) à un deuxième tronçon (TS2) à un temps de sortie (USEX) du premier tronçon et un temps d'entrée (USEN) du deuxième tronçon, à déterminer, sur la base du temps de sortie, un endroit de sortie (AEX) comportant un marqueur de début de séquence, à sélectionner tous les paquets multimédia (V2, A2) du premier tronçon qui sont associés au marqueur de début ainsi que les éventuels paquets multimédia (A1) se trouvant après l'endroit de sortie associé aux séquences précédentes, à créer une séquence et un marqueur (E) pour les paquets sélectionnés, à déterminer, sur la base du temps d'entrée, un endroit d'entrée (AEN) comportant un marqueur de début de séquence, à sélectionner des informations de commande de flux (SC) présentes avant l'endroit d'entrée, et à créer une séquence de liaison (BC) comprenant des paquets multimédia sélectionnés copiés, le marqueur de fin de séquence, les informations de commande de flux sélectionnées et les éventuels paquets de remplissage (N).
