A carbon nanoballoon structure having a hollow structure of a relatively large closed space, characterized in that it comprises a hollow structure wherein graphite layers are bound and arranged in such a manner that they form a curved surface as a whole; and a method for preparing the carbon nanoballoon structure with ease and stability, which comprises heating a soot formed by an arc discharge using a carbon electrode or by the laser irradiation to a carbon material or heating a carbon black having a specific surface area of 1000 m2/g or more and a primary particle diameter of 20 nm or more, to a high temperature in an inert gas atmosphere.

Structure de carbone nano-ballon ayant une structure creuse d'un espace clos relativement large caractérisé en ce qu'elle comprend une structure creuse dans laquelle des couches graphites sont liées et disposées de manière qu'elles forment une surface incurvée dans l'ensemble et un procédé pour préparer la structure nano-ballon avec facilité et stabilité qui comprend le chauffage de la suie formé par décharge d'arc électrique utilisant une électrode de carbone par irradiation laser d'un matériau de carbone ou chauffable du noir de carbone ayant une zone spécifique de surface supérieure ou égale á 1000 m2/g et un diamètre de particule primaire supérieure ou égale à 20 nm à une température élevée ans une atmosphère de gaz inerte.

比較的大きな閉空間を有する中空構造を有するカーボンナノバルーン構造体、およびこのような構造体を容易且つ安定的に得るカーボンナノバルーン構造体の製造方法を提供するものであり、炭素電極を用いたアーク放電により発生した煤または炭素へのレーザー照射により蒸発した煤、または比表面積が1000m2/g以上で、一次粒子径が20nm以上のカーボンブラックを、不活性ガス雰囲気中で高温加熱することにより得られ、グラファイト層が結合して全体として曲面を形成するよう配置された中空構造からなることを特徴とする。
