First and second data is transmitted simultaneously by modulating a first set of signal constellation points, corresponding to the first data, with second data thereby creating a second set of constellation points. The second set of constellation points comprises two subsets corresponding to two values of the first data. The constellation points are selected such that the minimum distance between the first and second subsets is not less than the minimum distance between the constellation points of the first set of constellation points.

Des premières et des secondes données sont transmises simultanément par modulation d'un premier ensemble de points de constellation de signaux, correspondant aux premières données, les secondes données créant ainsi un second ensemble de points de constellation. Le second ensemble de points de constellation comprend deux sous-ensembles correspondant à deux valeurs des premières données. Les points de constellation sont choisis pour que la distance minimum entre le premier et le second sous-ensemble ne soient pas inférieur à la distance minimum entre les points de constellation du premier ensemble de points de constellation.
