Abstract
(EN) A diode-pumped solid state laser (4) produces an output of pulses of laser light which is transmitted through a microstructured optical fibre where it undergoes non-linear optical effects so as to produce pulses of continuum radiation. These pulses of continuum radiation are spatially separated by a diffraction grating (10) and then selectively modulated by a spatial like modulator (14) so as to generate pulses of tuned radiation having a tuned spectral profile. This is subject to feedback control and is useful for fluorescence imaging, including fluorescence lifetime imaging. The feedback controlling operation of the tuned radiation can be used to optimise one or more desired outcomes of an experiment or procedure.
(FR) L'invention concerne un laser à état solide à diodes de pompage (4) produisant une sortie d'impulsions de lumière laser transmise par une fibre optique microstructurée dans laquelle les impulsions sont soumises à des effets otiques non linéaires, de sorte à produire des impulsions de rayonnement continu. Les impulsions de rayonnement continu sont spatialement séparées par un réseau de diffraction (10), puis sont sélectivement modulées par un modulateur de type spatial (14), de sorte à générer des impulsions de rayonnement accordé présentant un profil spectral accordé. Ceci est soumis à une commande de rétroaction, et utilisé pour une imagerie par fluorescence, notamment une imagerie par durée de vie de fluorescence. Le fonctionnement de commande de rétroaction du rayonnement accordé peut être utilisé pour optimiser au moins un résultat voulu d'une expérience ou d'une procédure.
