Abstract
(EN) The inventive propeller consists of a shaft (1) comprising at least two hubs (2) which are mounted thereon and provided with blades (3) fixed to each of them. Each blade (3) has a front and rear sharp edges and is embodied in such a way that the greater airfoil thickness thereof is equal to (0.10-0.25)b along the blade (3) span, wherein b is the mean chord of the blade (3). The greatest airfoil thickness (6) of each blade (3) is located in the middle of each mean chord and is twisted around an axis (8) passing through the middles of the mean chords along the blade (3) span. The blades (3) can be fixed to each hub (2) at an angle of <90° with respect to the radius thereof, thereby reducing a local aerodynamic drag and aerodynamic loads. The inventive propeller can be provided with a fixed cylindrical enclosure which embraces all blades (3) and extended in front of the blades of the front hub (2) at a distance which is equal to or greater than the blade span, thereby increasing a torque effect value.
(FR) Cette invention concerne une hélice comportant un arbre (1) sur lequel sont montés au moins deux moyeux (2) sur chacun desquels sont fixées des pales (3). Chacune des pales (3) comprend une arrête vive avant et arrière et est conçue de manière que le long de l'envergure de la pale (3) l'épaisseur maximale du profil soit égale à (0,10 0,25) b, b désignant la longueur de la corde locale de la pale (3). L'épaisseur maximale (6) du profil de chaque pale (3) se trouve au centre de chaque corde locale et dévie par rapport à un axe (8) passant par le centre des cordes locales le long de l'envergure de la pale (3). Les pales peuvent être fixées sur chacun des moyeux (2) selon un angle d'inclinaison inférieur à 90° par rapport à leur rayon, ce qui permet de réduire la résistance aérodynamique locale de même que les charges aérodynamiques. L'hélice de cette invention peut comprendre une enveloppe cylindrique fixe chargée d'entourer toutes les pales (3) et s'étendant en face des pales du moyeu avant (2) sur au moins la longueur de la pale, ce qui accroît la valeur du moment de rotation.
