(FR) DISPOSITIF DE DIRECTION À COMMANDE MANUELLE
Abstract
(EN) Driving and steering means of a wheeled, power driven vehicle, such as a power driven hospital bed, is actuated by an actuating device (30). This actuating device comprises a base member (31) and an actuating member (32) having gripping means, such as a pair of spaced handles (33), and being supported by the base member so as to be displaceable thereon along a plane. A first force transducer (34) is arranged to receive a force component manually applied to the actuating member in a predetermined first direction only, along said plane, and a second force transducer (38) is arranged to receive a force component manually applied to the actuating member in a predetermined second direction only, transversely to the first direction along said plane. Each of these force transducers is adapted to generate an output signal to the driving and steering means responsive to the strength of the force component received. Preferably, the first and second directions extend at mutual right angles, and one of the directions extends in the normal direction of travel of the vehicle.
(FR) La présente invention a trait à un moyen de conduite et de direction d'un véhicule motorisé à roues, tel qu'un lit d'hôpital à commande mécanique, actionné par un dispositif d'actionnement (30). Ce dispositif d'actionnement comporte un organe de base (31) et un organe d'actionnement (32) comportant des moyens de préhension tel qu'une paire de guidons espacés (33), et supportés par l'organe de base pour être mobile sur celui-ci selon un plan. Un premier transducteur de force (34) est agencé pour recevoir une composante de force d'application manuelle à l'organe d'actionnement exclusivement dans une première direction prédéterminée selon ledit plan, et un deuxième transducteur de force (38) est agencé pour recevoir une composante de force d'application manuelle à l'organe d'actionnement exclusivement dans une deuxième direction prédéterminée, transversalement à la première direction selon ledit plan. Chacun des transducteurs de force est apte à la génération d'un signal de sortie au moyen de conduite et de direction sensible à l'intensité de la composante de force reçue. De préférence, les première et deuxième directions s'étendent à angles droits mutuels, et une des directions s'étend dans la direction d'avancement normale du véhicule.
