Abstract
(EN) A method of delivering a packet from a first device in a first piconet of a scatternet to a destination device in a second piconet of the scatternet comprising: creating a direct radio communications link between the first device and the destination device; and transmitting the packet via the direct radio communications link. Alternatively, a method of delivering a packet from a first device in a first piconet of a scatternet to a destination device in a second piconet of that scatternet comprising: creating a third piconet between the first piconet and the second piconet; and transmitting the packet via the third piconet. Alternatively, a method of delivering a packet from a first device in a first piconet of a scatternet to a destination device in a second piconet of the scatternet comprising: receiving the packet at the first device; determining whether the creation of a direct radio communications link between the first device and the destination device is possible; and if it is not possible, forwarding the packet within the scatternet.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de distribution d'un paquet d'un premier dispositif dans un premier piconet d'un scatternet à un dispositif destinataire dans un second piconet du scatternet, consistant à créer une liaison de communication radio directe entre le premier dispositif et le dispositif destinataire, et à transmettre le paquet via la liaison de communication radio directe. L'invention concerne, en variante, un procédé de distribution d'un paquet d'un premier dispositif dans un premier piconet d'un scatternet à un dispositif destinataire dans un deuxième piconet dudit scatternet, consistant à créer un troisième piconet entre le premier piconet et le deuxième piconet, et à transmettre le paquet via le troisième piconet. L'invention concerne, en outre, un procédé de distribution d'un paquet d'un premier dispositif dans un premier piconet d'un scatternet à un dispositif destinataire dans un second piconet dudit scatternet, consistant à recevoir le paquet au niveau du premier dispositif, à déterminer si la création d'une liaison de communication radio directe entre le premier dispositif et le dispositif destinataire est possible et, si cela n'est pas possible, à faire suivre le paquet dans le scatternet.
