(EN)The present invention relates to an optical functional circuit which performs a delay process on N optical signals to obtain N optical delayed signals. The circuit optical functional circuit of the present invention includes N delay waveguides 12-1 through 12-N each having an amount of delay assigned thereto. The N delay waveguides 12-1 through 12-N each include at least one photonic crystal. The photonic crystal is structured such that refractive index thereof varies periodically in accordance with an assigned amount of delay.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un circuit fonctionnel optique qui permet d'effectuer un processus de temporisation sur des signaux optiques N afin d'obtenir des signaux optiques temporisés N. Le circuit fonctionnel optique de l'invention comporte des guides d'onde à retard N (12-1 à 12-N) se voyant chacun assigné un délai de temporisation. Les guides d'onde à retard N (12-1 à 12-N) comportent chacun au moins un cristal photonique. Le cristal photonique est configuré de telle sorte que son indice de réfraction varie périodiquement en fonction du délai de temporisation assigné.
