(EN)A touch sensing device (10) includes a plurality of sensors (16, 104) and an emitting transducer coupled to a touch panel (12, 102). The transducer (16, 108) induces bending waves in the touch panel (12, 102). The sensors (16, 104) sense bending waves in the touch panel (12, 102) and generate a bending wave signal responsive to the sensed bending waves. A controller (120) identifies an untouched condition signal responsive to the induced bending waves. The controller (120) compares the untouched condition signal to the bending wave signal, and detects a touch on the touch panel based on the comparison.
(FR)Un dispositif tactile comprend plusieurs capteurs et un transducteur d'émission couplé à un panneau tactile. Le transducteur induit des ondes de flexion dans le panneau tactile.
