Abstract
(EN) The invention is directed to an antiviral for administration to a mammalian host (e.g., a human) susceptible to paramyxovirus infection, particularly respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. In certain embodiments, an antiviral molecule of the invention is a polypeptide, a chemokine polypeptide, a chemokine polypeptide fragment, an organic small molecule or a peptide mimetic, wherein the antiviral molecule inhibits or prevents paramyxovirus infection of a mammalian cell.
(FR) L'invention concerne une composition antivirale pour administration à un hôte mammalien (par exemple, être humain) susceptible à l'infection par le paramyxovirus, en particulier le virus respiratoire syncytial (RS). Selon certaines variantes, la molécule antivirale décrite est un polypeptide, un polypeptide chimiokine, un fragment de polypeptide chimiokine, une petite molécule organique ou un mimétique de peptide, sachant que la molécule antivirale inhibe ou prévient l'infection au paramyxovirus dans une cellule mammalienne.
