Abstract

A fluid coupling having an impeller (3), a turbine (4), a bearing (8), and a baffle plate (35). The impeller has an impeller shell (16), impeller blades (17), and an impeller hub (18). The turbine is placed in a fluid chamber so as to face the impeller and has a turbine shell (21) constituting a torus together with the impeller shell (16), turbine blades (22), and a turbine hub (23). The bearing rotatably supports the impeller hub on the turbine hub. The baffle plate is provided in the torus and baffles a portion of a flow of an operation fluid flowing in the torus. A hole (21a) is provided in the turbine shell, close to the baffle plate. The hole (21a) allows the operation fluid in the torus to flow to outside the torus in a low speed ratio region.

Coupleur hydraulique comprenant un rotor (3), une turbine (4), un palier (8) et une plaque déflectrice (35). Le rotor comprend une coquille (16), des pales (17) et un moyeu (18). La turbine est logée dans une chambre remplie de fluide, face au rotor, et comporte une coquille (21) formant un tore avec la coquille de rotor (16), des pales de turbine (22) et un moyeu de turbine (23). Le palier supporte le moyeu de rotor en rotation sur le moyeu de turbine. La plaque déflectrice logée dans le tore dévie une partie du fluide de travail s'écoulant dans le tore. La coquille de turbine présente un trou (21a) à proximité de la plaque déflectrice. Ce trou (21a) permet au fluide de travail de s'écouler hors du tore dans une région correspondant à un rapport de vitesse bas.

 この流体継手は、インペラ3と、タービン4と、軸受8と、邪魔板35とを備えている。インペラは、インペラシェル16と、インペラブレード17と、インペラハブ18とを有する。タービンは流体室内でインペラに対向して配置され、インペラシェルとともにトーラスを構成するタービンシェル21と、タービンブレード22と、タービンハブ23とを有している。軸受はタービンハブに対してインペラハブを回転自在に支持する。邪魔板は、トーラス内に設けられ、トーラス内を流れる作動流体の流れの一部を阻害する。そして、トーラス内の作動流体を低速度比域においてトーラス外に流出させるための孔21aが、タービンシェルに邪魔板に近接して設けられている。
