Title (EN) RIGID LIPOSOMAL COCHLEATE AND METHODS OF USE AND MANUFACTURE
(FR) COMPOSITIONS COCHLEAIRES LIPOSOMALES RIGIDES ET LEURS PROCEDES DE FABRICATION
Abstract: front page image
(EN)Employing liposomes having a high transition temperature at least partially disposed in a matrix, compositions are provided that can be used to deliver one or more cargo moieties, e.g., a drug, a nutrient, an imaging agent and/or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. The matrix can be a lipid precipitate and/or a cationic bridge. Methods of making and using these compositions preferably cochleates, are also disclosed.
