There is provided an image decoding device for performing inverse quantization and inverse orthogonal conversion so as to decode image compressed information obtained by making an input image signal into a block and performing orthogonal conversion in block unit for quantization. The image decoding device includes: a reversible decoder (12) for decoding a conversion coefficient quantized and encoded; an inverse quantizer (13) showing the presence of the conversion coefficient by a flag for each processing block of inverse quantization when subjecting the conversion coefficient decoded by the reversible decoder (12), to inverse quantization; and an inverse converter (14) for modifying the inverse conversion processing to be performed on the inverse quantization conversion coefficient in the processing block by using the flag shown by the inverse quantizer (13).

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de décodage d'image conçu pour effectuer une quantification inverse et une conversion orthogonale inverse de manière à décoder des données comprimées d'image, obtenues par insertion d'un signal d'image d'entrée dans un bloc et mise en oeuvre d'une conversion orthogonale par unité de bloc pour la quantification.  本発明は、入力画像信号をブロック化し、ブロック単位で直交変換を施して量子化された画像圧縮情報を逆量子化し、逆直交変換を施して復号する画像復号装置であり、量子化され符号化された変換係数を復号する可逆復号器(12)と、可逆復号器(12)によって復号された変換係数を逆量子化する際に、逆量子化の処理ブロック毎に変換係数の存在をフラグにして示す逆量子化器(13)と、逆量子化器(13)によって示されたフラグを用いて処理ブロック内の逆量子化変換係数に施す逆変換化処理を変更する逆変換器(14)とを備える。
