Abstract:

(EN)A display panel signal line driving apparatus continuously applies, to a pixel selected by a scanning line out of a plurality of pixels connected to signal lines, a predetermined voltage for a duration corresponding to gradation data given to that pixel, thereby controlling the gradation of that pixel. The display panel signal line driving apparatus includes gamma curve memories, timer circuits and pixel drive output circuits for the red, green and blue colors. As a result, the display panel signal line driving apparatus can realize enhanced reproducibilities of coloration and chromaticity, and can be constituted by area-reduced circuits at a lower cost.
(FR)Un appareil de commande d'une ligne de signal d'un écran applique en continu sur un pixel sélectionné par une ligne de balayage hors d'une pluralité de pixels reliés à des lignes de signal, une tension prédéterminée pendant une durée correspondant aux données de gradation fournies à ce pixel, ce qui permet de contrôler la gradation de ce pixel. L'appareil de commande de la ligne de signal d'un écran comprend des mémoires de courbe gamma, des circuits temporisateurs et des circuits de sortie de commande de pixel pour les couleurs rouge, vert et bleu. Ainsi, l'appareil de commande de la ligne de signal d'un écran peut réaliser des reproductions améliorées de coloration et chromaticité et peut être constitué de circuits à zones réduites à faible coût.
