A device detecting part (151) of a USB SD card reader (15) monitors a device insertion detecting signal line to determine whether an SD card device (17) is inserted into an SD card slot (16), and then notifies a result of that determination to a USB interface control part (152). When no SD card device (17) has been inserted, the USB interface control part (152) keeps 'Low' a USB interface control signal line connected to a USB interface D+ signal line so as to disable the USB interface with an SB (14). When the SD card device (17) is inserted, the USB interface control part (152) releases the USB interface control signal line into a state of 'Hi-z' so as to cause the enabling/disabling of the USB interface to be dependent on the control of the SB (14).

Un détecteur de périphérique (151) du lecteur de la carte SD de l'USB (15) surveille la ligne du signal de détection d'insertion de périphérique pour déterminer su un périphérique à carte SD (17) est introduit dans une fente de carte SD (16), puis notifie un résultat de cette détermination à un contrôleur d'interface USB (152). En l'absence de périphérique à carte SD (17), le contrôleur d'interface USB (152) maintient en valeur basse une ligne de signal de commande d'interface USB connectée à une ligne de signal D+ de l'interface USB pour mettre hors fonction l'interface comportant une SB (14). En présence d'un périphérique à carte SD (17), le contrôleur d'interface USB (152) déclenche à valeur haute (Hi-z) la ligne de signal de commande d'interface USB connectée à une ligne de signal D+ de l'interface USB de façon à mettre en ou hors fonction l'interface USB en fonction de la commande du SB (14).

 USBSDカードリーダ(15)のデバイス検知部(151)は、デバイス挿入検知信号線を監視してSDカードスロット(16)へのSDカードデバイス(17)の装着有無を判定し、その判定結果をUSBインタフェース制御部(152)に通知する。USBインタフェース制御部(152)は、SDカードデバイス(17)の未装着時には、SB(14)との間のUSBインタフェースを無効化すべくUSBインタフェース用のD+信号線に接続されたUSBインタフェース制御信号線をLowに固定し、一方、SDカードデバイス(17)の装着時には、USBインタフェースの有効/無効がSB(14)側の制御によって決定されるようにUSBインタフェース制御信号線をHi−zの状態に解放する。
