(EN)A vacuum heat insulating material comprising a core material of inorganic fibers and an envelope material enveloping the core material, wherein the inorganic fibers are composed mainly of silicon oxide and, at the surface thereof, have a ratio of Si-OH/Si-O of 0.1 to 20, the inorganic fibers having intersection points resulting from mutual adhesion thereof through intermolecular interaction attributed to Si-OH groups.
(FR)La présente invention a trait à un matériau d'isolation thermique sous vide comportant un matériau noyau de fibres inorganiques et un matériau entourant le matériau noyau, dans lequel les fibres inorganiques sont constituées principalement d'oxyde de silicium et, à la surface de celles-ci, ont un rapport de Si-OH/Si-O entre 0,1 et 20, les fibres inorganiques présentant des points d'intersection résultant de leur adhésion mutuelle à travers une interaction moléculaire attribuée aux groupes Si-OH.
