(EN)A method of custom molding occlusal surfaces (106) of dentures (100) and the surfaces (106) thus produced. Special teeth (108) are used for the lower posterior teeth (126L) on the mandibular plate (104) of dentures (100) and a central bearing device (116) is attached to the dentures (100). Each special tooth (108) has a central receptacle (110) used initially for holding an insert (114) for positioning the dentures (100) while the central bearing device (116) is adjusted and then as a container to hold moldable resin (112) when the insert (114) is removed. The central receptacle (110) holds the resin (112) as it is molded by the opposing teeth (126U) moving through all possible eccentric positions, with the central bearing device (116) preventing the teeth (126L & 126U) from closing too far. The resin (112) is then cured and trimmed and the dentures (100) are clinically fit to the patient before the central bearing device (116) is removed from the dentures (100).
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé de moulage personnalisé des surfaces occluses (106) de prothèses (100), et sur les surfaces (106) ainsi obtenues. On utilise des dents spéciales (108) pour les dents postérieures inférieures (126L) situées sur la plaque mandibulaire (104) de la prothèse (100), auxquelles est fixé un support central. Chaque dent spéciale (108) comporte un réceptacle central (110) servant initialement à maintenir un insert (114) de positionnement de la prothèse (100) tandis qu'on règle le support central (116) qui sert de cavité de rétention de la résine moulable (112) lorsqu'un retire d'insert (114). Le réceptacle central (110) maintient la résine (112) pendant son moulage par la dent opposée (126U) qui peut prendre toutes les positions excentriques, alors que le support central (116) empêche les dents (126L & 126U) de se fermer trop loin. On fait alors durcir la résine (112) puis on la rogne, et les prothèses sont cliniquement adaptées au patient avant d'en retirer le support central (116).
