Abstract:
(EN) A catheter device having a shaft that extends from a proximal end to a distal end to carry on its distal end a self- expanding implant for intraluminal advance on a guidewire and delivery of the implant to a stenting site by proximal withdrawal of a sheath that lies radially outside the implant in the catheter, the catheter including a first shaft element to pull the sheath proximally and a second shaft element to push the implant distally to prevent the implant moving proximally with the sheath when the sheath is pulled proximally, wherein i) the shaft defines a flushing lumen ii) the shaft defines a proximal guidewire exit port that is distal of the proximal end of the shaft, for rapid exchange of the catheter with respect to the guidewire iii) the first shaft element is a pull wire iv) the second shaft element is a pusher tube.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un cathéter comportant une tige s'étendant d'une extrémité proximale à une extrémité distale et portant, sur son extrémité distale, un implant auto-déployable, lequel cathéter progresse par voie intraluminale sur un fil-guide et sert à mettre l'implant en place au niveau d'un site de pose de stent au moyen du retrait proximal d'une gaine qui repose radialement à l'extérieur de l'implant dans le cathéter, lequel cathéter comprend un premier élément de tige servant à tirer la gaine de façon proximale et un second élément de tige servant à pousser l'implant de façon distale afin d'empêcher l'implant de se déplacer de façon proximale avec la gaine lorsque celle-ci est tirée de façon proximale. Selon cette invention: i) la tige définit une lumière d'évacuation; ii) la tige définit un orifice de sortie de fil-guide proximal éloigné de l'extrémité proximale de la tige et permet un échange rapide du cathéter par rapport au fil-guide; iii) le premier élément de tige est un fil de traction; et iv) le second élément de tige est un tube de poussée.
